In spite of growing up on a cattle ranch away from any major city, Gordon Goodman was always drawn to the arts. He began writing plays and composing music by age 11. He began singing professionally when he was 16 and was granted the first full-scholarship given to a music student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He went on to perform or record with symphonies domestic and internationally, working under composers such as John Williams, Henry Mancini, Jerry Goldsmith, John Rutter, James Newton Howard and many others. His acting training came from Rep Theater. He’s won awards and been nominated for awards such as the Ovation Award for Best Actor, but it’s working with other creative people that truly makes life fun.
